SCJH XC Announcements (10/11/21) INTRASQUAD MEET #2 The SCJH XC held their second and final intrasquad meet on Saturday October 9. The 2 Mile race was won by the Blue team (Braxxten Gibson, Micah Stubbs and Ethan Grinnell) 10 - 11 over the Orange team (Damian Mlekush, Hunter Ely, Annalynn Terwilliger and Selah Stubbs). Braxxten was the overall champion finishing first in a time of 14:54. The 1 mile race only had 2 competitors with Sarah Grinnell edging out Anna Newby. Annalynn was the most improved runner for the two mile race and Anna was most improved in the 1 mile race. This concludes the SCJH XC inaugural season. Looking forward to next season and competing against other schools. As always, THE BEST IS YET TO COME!!! A big THANK YOU to Carol Rice, Sam Rice and Superintendent Brett Elliott for you help and continue support! Greatly appreciated!! And once again, THANK YOU to all who came out to support and cheer the XC teams in their runs. Your support was amazing!!! Intrasquad Meet #2 Results INTRASQUAD MEET #1 The SCJH XC held their first intrasquad meet on Thursday (Sept. 16). The YELLOW team consisting of Captain Braxxten Gibson, Damian Mlekush, Ethan Grinnell, Emma Chamberlain, Isaac Macke and Sarah Grinnell edge the RED team consisting of Captain Bethany Stahl, Hunter Ely, Micah Stubbs, Selah Stubbs Annalynn Terwilliger and Anna Newby 25 - 30. Braxxten Gibson was the first to the finish covering the 1.04 miles in 6:48. Bethany Stahl was the first girls to finish with a time of 7:32. Coach Gary was very happy with all the participants effort. A BIG THANK YOU to our helpers Superintendent Brett Elliott, HS/JH Principal Megan McGann, Mary Beth Kelly, Carol Rice and Sam Rice for making the meet run so smooth. Another BIG THANK YOU to all the spectators for came out to watch the kids run. It was great to see so many people and to hear them cheer for all the runners. It made for some great finishes!! And finally a BIG THANK YOU to the kids who made their coach super happy and proud!!! This is why we train! Remember the best is yet to come!!!!! Intrasquad Meet 1 Results Intrasquad Meet Champions Intrasquad Meet Runner-ups Intrasquad Meet Individual Winners SCJH XC COURSE MAP The SCJH XC is now available for viewing. The course starts at home plate on the north diamond and heads north down the left field line. After doing one lap they proceed to do another lap. On the second lap upon reaching the north field they go straight into the outfield toward the finish line. Total length of the 2 lap course is 1.04 miles.
